Wonder! In-Person

For ages 9 to 11. Do you love asking big questions? Wonder why things are the way they are? Join this exciting program where kids learn how to ask great questions with confidence, listen to others with respect, and build early logical thinking skills. Led by a real philosophy professor, the eight sessions are filled with kid-friendly questions and fun discussions that make thinking fun. Whether you're just starting to explore or ready to dive deeper, come curious and leave even more curious. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Seat reservation required.

Dr. Sophia Stone, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in Philosophy at Lynn University and has been teaching philosophy classes for twenty years to college students. She has conducted youth-friendly philosophy discussion programs designed for children and teens through the Wisdom's Edge Foundation which she founded.

Individual reservation is required for each individual class. A participant reservation will be removed if two classes of a series are missed without prior notice. However, we encourage you to place a reservation again if you anticipate your definite attendance. Please contact the Youth Services desk if you have any questions at Downtown, 561-393-7968, or Spanish River, 561-544-8584.
