Versed in Verse: Poetry Reading with Poets on the Fringe (POTF) and Community Open Mic In-Person

Happy National Poetry Month! Come listen to the talented poets of Poets on the Fringe (POTF), our weekly poetry group, share their poems. Feel free to bring a poem of your own to share for the open mic! 

Please note that by registering or attending this event, you agree to follow all guidelines printed below.

About POTF: Poets from all walks of life, both established and emerging, are encouraged to share their work and offer positive feedback and support to each other. This weekly series is hosted by Pamela Passaretta, who coordinated this program for 10 years in Washington, DC. 

Event and Poetry Reading Guidelines: 
Each person has a 5-minute limit - If introducing the poem or giving context, this will be included in the 5-minute speaking limit. 

Keep it clean so everyone can attend - No violence, explicit sexual content, or other explicit content. No hard profanity.  

No discriminatory language, ideas, or behavior - This event will not support discrimination or harassment based on race, religion, ancestry, ethnicity, age, marital status, disability, orientation, or identity, nor encourage bullying of any kind. No inclusion of epithets, slurs, or other unwelcome remarks regarding any person, their appearance, or any aspect of their background. 

No plagiarism - No plagiarism or reading of a poem that belongs to anyone other than the person reading the poem.
