Read for the Record Story Time: With Lots of Love, by Jenny Torres Sanchez In-Person
The Boca Raton Public Library and the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County join Jumpstart's national Read for the Record, which brings together millions of adults and children around the world each year to read the same book on the same day to raise awareness about early literacy. Special guest Mayor Scott Singer will read this year's book, a beautiful, lyrical story about a girl who moves from her home in Central America to the United States, and everything she leaves behind and longs for -- especially her abuela -- as she makes a new life. Enrollment required.
